Four reasons this wrap earns a spot in your gym bag
Built around one job: give your elbow firmer support without losing your range of motion.
External compression, not a bracing crutch
A firm neoprene wrap adds external support around the joint, giving your elbow something to push against on heavy presses without replacing your own strength.
40 inches of adjustable tension
Wrap it looser for warm-ups or lock it down tighter for a heavy top set. The full 40-inch length lets you set your own tension, not a fixed one-size squeeze.
Locks down, stays down
Reinforced double zigzag stitching and a hook-and-loop closure keep the wrap from loosening or rolling mid-set, so you re-wrap less and lift more.
Breathable neoprene comfort
The elastic neoprene blend flexes with your elbow and stays wearable through long training sessions without chafing.
Why Do Lifters Use Elbow Wraps for Heavy Pressing?
Elbow wraps work on a different mechanism than a lifting belt. Instead of raising intra-abdominal pressure, a wrap adds external compression and tension around the elbow joint, limiting excess joint movement and giving the tissues around the joint something firmer to work against during a heavy press.
The case for wrapping comes down to three things:
- External joint support. Wrapping the elbow in a firm, adjustable band limits how far the joint travels under load, the same general principle behind counterforce bracing used to support the elbow under heavy pressing.
- Compression and joint-position feedback. Compression around a joint can modestly sharpen your sense of where that joint is in space, giving you a firmer, more confident feel at the bottom of a heavy bench or overhead press.
- Consistent, adjustable tension. The 40-inch wrap and Velcro closure let you set the exact tightness you want, rewrap between sets, and dial in more or less support as the working weight changes.
From my orthopedic practice, I recommend elbow wraps for lifters doing frequent heavy pressing, especially those managing elbow soreness or a history of joint sensitivity. They are training equipment, not a substitute for professional care; if elbow trouble persists, see your provider before loading it further.

How an elbow wrap actually helps
No magic. Just external support and a firmer sense of the joint under load.
Wrap applied
A firm elastic band is wound around the elbow joint at your chosen tension.
External compression
The wrap compresses the soft tissue around the joint from outside.
Feedback sharpens
Compression around a joint can modestly sharpen your sense of where it is in space.
Range is limited
The wrap limits how far the joint travels at end ranges, similar to counterforce bracing.
Press with support
You press against a joint that has firmer external support through the heaviest part of the rep.
This wrap is training equipment and gym gear, not a substitute for professional care. It provides external support during heavy lifting. If you have ongoing elbow trouble, check with your provider before loading it further.

Do You Need Elbow Wraps for Pressing?
Not always. Light and moderate pressing work doesn't need external support. Once you're pushing heavy bench, overhead, or close-grip sets, especially with a history of elbow soreness or tendon irritation, a wrap gives the joint external compression and a firmer sense of position at the bottom of the lift. Most lifters reach for wraps once heavy pressing starts to aggravate the elbow or once they want extra confidence locking out a near-max rep.
The Body Reapers Difference
Three things that hold up under a heavy press and honest scrutiny.
Two reasons these elbow wraps are better and cost less.
One wrap, two things almost no one else pairs: a clinician's design and our own factory floor.
Designed by a clinician
An orthopedic OPA-C designed the wrap tension around how compressive load travels across the elbow joint during heavy pressing, not around a marketing brief. Every wrap pattern traces back to joint stability, not trends.

Made in our own facility
We manufacture in-house instead of outsourcing. That lets us control the material quality and cut the middleman markup. It is why a clinician-designed wrap is $26.93 instead of a middleman-marked-up price, and why it holds up set after set.
Most brands outsource to third-party suppliers and mark up cheaper materials. We don't.

These elbow wraps provide amazing support and compression, helping me push through tough workouts with less discomfort. They are fully adjustable and stay snug without slipping, perfect for bench presses and heavy lifting.
For an older guy these are a must have for elbows.
There was a bit of a learning curve with getting the wraps installed properly-thankfully some kind folks posted videos of how to use them. I did not like them at first, but once I got them in the right position they gave me great elbow support.
I have a bad left elbow. This helps a lot.
